How to Ride the Bus to Scarborough State Beach

Mason, do the following steps to ride the bus to Scarborough State Beach.

1. Go to the Stop X on the Exchange Terrace; see the map below.
   • Scroll down for the details.
2. Take bus #66 to the University of Rhode Island (URI).
   • Stay on Bus 66 for more than 60 minutes.
   • Wait until the last stop: the Memorial Union Bus Stop in URI.

3. Stay on the same bus if bus 66 turns into bus 69 at URI.
   • Ask the bus driver:
     • “How do I catch bus 69 for Scarborough State Beach?”
     • “Am I on bus 69, or do I get off here to catch bus 69?”
4. Take bus #69 to “Ocean After Desano.”

   • Bus 69 takes you from URI to Salt Pond Plaza in 21 minutes.
   • Bus 69 takes you from Salt Pond Plaza to Scarborough State Beach in 12 minutes.
   • Together, Bus 69 takes you from URI to Scarborough State Beach in 33 minutes.
   • Bus 69 will go for two more minutes to reach the end of the bus line.
   • If you missed the State Beach, ride the bike back from the end of the bus line.

Step 2 Take Bus #66 to URI

At Stop X, take bus #66 for the University of Rhode Island.
